Series consists of research materials on the history of discriminatory laws in Canada. This research was originally intended for Tarnopolsky's Discrimination and the Law in Canada, 1982, but for the most part was not used when it was decided that the study would have a more contemporary focus. A small amount of the material was incorporated into the early chapters of the book. Includes original documents and photocopies, in addition to research notes. Some of the material (volumes 41-43) is in numbered subject files, for which an index is available (volumes 40-41). The remainder of the material (volumes 43-47) is in files by region and/or subject.
