Selected items from the collections of the Norfolk Historical Society including the papers of individuals and families prominent in the history of the county such as, the Walshes, Adrian Faure, Alexander McNeilledge, the Price family, William Hewitt, Aaron Slaght and Oliver Blake among others; and of businesses and associations, together with county and township records, court, school, church and land papers.

The bulk of the records were microfilmed in 1958 with additional papers being filmed in 1962 and 1974. The pagination of the documents filmed in 1974 begins again at page 1. To avoid confusion with those microfilmed previously, references to documents in the 1974 addition should be preceded by the roman numeral II, e.g. II-240.
