Series consists of subject files including a notebook on the Northwest Territories, ca. 1951, curriculum vitae and certificate of military service, correspondence, memoranda, clippings, manuscripts of research papers and addresses many by L.A.C.O. Hunt on northern agriculture, Antarctica, the Guido Monzino North Polar Expedition 1967-1973 and other subjects. Some of his manuscripts were published in the periodical "North." Translations of some of Emile Petitot's work on the Mackenzie Inuit, 1910, 1943-1978, 19 cm.

Series also consists of correspondence with S.M. Hodgson Commissioner of the Northwest Territories concerning the writing of Hunt's book and other northern correspondence, and some personal correspondence with his wife, Barbara Hunt, 1951-1975, 1 cm.
