This series contains scripts and articles (and notes and correspondence related to them) produced during Stursberg's career as a print journalist and radio and television broadcaster from the 1930s to the 1970s. It includes scripts for his CBC wartime broadcasts and foreign despatches to the London "Daily Herald" for the late war and immediate postwar periods, covering events such as the Quisling trial, Paris Peace Conference, independence movement in India, and Berlin blockade. There is a substantial collection of scripts for 1950-1955 when he was the United Nations correspondent for the CBC.

From the 1960s and 1970s there are commentaries for CJOH-TV News and scripts and correspondence for CTV's Question Period. Separate files hold his articles for "Saturday Night" and other magazines, his Ottawa column for the Canadian-American News Service, and rejected manuscripts. Early files contain stories written by Stursberg and his brother Richard when they were children.
