This series consists primarily of family and personal correspondence but includes some school records as well. One file holds letters from Stursberg's father and other family members and friends to Peter and his brother Richard while they were children. Other files contain his school records and report cards from Bedford School in England, 1924-1930, and West Hill High School in Montreal, 1928-1929. For the latter school there is a yearbook for 1929. The bulk of the series comprises letters from Stursberg to his parents from 1938-1970.

Many of the wartime letters, 1941-1944, are of special interest and some of them show signs of censorship. Letters to him from his parents, 1961-1970, complete the series. One of these letters from 1965 contains a genealogical excerpt from a book tracing the Stursberg ancestry to sixteenth century Germany.
