The series consists of the Kirk Session minute book of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Peterborough, dated 3 February 1835 to 6 June 1842, which includes an account of the formation of the Kirk Session, 1834-1835, pp. 1-19, as well as minutes, from 5 August 1844 to 12 December 1845 (incomplete), which begin with a account of the disruption and formaion of the new Synod of the (Free) Presbyterian Church of Canada, pp. 29-32, file 1.
