Facilities and activities at the Central Technical School, Bathurst Street, Toronto. Described in the film as, "The Central Technical School was completed in 1915. It is one of the best equipped institutions of its kind in the world." Film opens with a shot of the principals office and two gentlemen pouring over documents at a desk. Shots of the elementary electricity class. Shots of students engaged in various electrical exercises such as wiring a house, and scenes of students assembling the walls, and rooftop of a house. Shots of the exhibition room where the products of the school are shown. Scenes of the boys' class exercising in the school gymnasium and in the swimming pool. Shots of the students lining up to be served in the school cafeteria. A close up shot of the menu. Scenes from the Domestic Art laboratory of girls assembling dresses, and running sewing machines. Shots of the Millinery class with girls sewing. Scenes of the Domestic Science Department of girls at their individual work stations mixing and preparing food. The students load their dishes into an oven, and clean their pots and pans. Shots of the students removing their cakes from the oven. Shot of two girls churning ice cream. The film ends with a young student taste testing the ice cream and cakes.
