Medium shot of class instruction in machine shop after students have taken practical theory. Shows students working with various machines - lathe, polisher, drills, etc. Extreme close up of finished samples of work made by students. Shows pistons, hydraulic casings, bolts, gearwheels, etc. Close up of young students learning the plumbing trade. Shows students working with pipes, joining same together, then cutting and threading ends. Medium shot of students making moulds for die casting. Close ups of students working at die casting. Shows wooden box mould filled with sand, wooden pattern being pressed into sand to obtain form for cast, pattern being removed. Hot metallic liquid is poured onto form.
