The series consists of a copy of a typescript extract from the register of baptisms, marriages, and burials kept by the Reverend John Langhorn[e], 1787-1813. His register includes a few marriages, 1814 and 1816, performed by the Rev. Richard Pollard (1752-1824), the SPG missionary at Sandwich, Upper Canada, and the Rev. George Okill Stuart (1776-1862), rector of Kingston, Upper Canada.

Langhorn, John, Rev. (ca. 1744-1817) : The Reverend John Langhorn[e] (ca. 1744-1817) was a Church of England clergyman who occupied the Cataraqui district station of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts (SPG) from 1787 until 1813, when he resigned because of ill health.
