Series consists of clippings of Pratley's published writings, spanning his entire career and arranged in 60 scrapbooks according to the publication in which the writings were published. Included are clippings from Canadian Cinematography, The Canadian Forum, Canadian Film News, Canadian Moving Picture Digest, Kinematography Weekly, Marquee, Showbill, Take One, Tribute, The Canadian Television and Motion Picture Review, and others. Some material was arranged in Miscellany binders.

Arrangement note:

The scrapbooks are arranged alphabetically by the name of the publication. Some of the material was originally filed in binders by Pratley; the pages have been removed from the binders but are filed in file folders reflecting the original order.
