Series comprises manuscript and typescript drafts, galley proofs and reviews of Waddington's published prose work, including Apartment Seven: Essays New and Selected (1989) and Canadian - Jewish Short Stories (1990). Manuscript and typescript drafts of essays and articles written by Waddington are also included. These consist of such works as: "Breaking Bread in Jerusalem" (1979); "The Banquet"; "Collected Poems of A.M. Klein"; "Exile" (1974); "For the Structurist"; "Is there a Feminine Voice in Literature?" (1978); "Memoirs of a Jewish Farmer"; "Moshe Nadir: The Yiddish Stephen Leacock"; "Teaching Canadian Poetry"; "What is it to be a Jewish Writer?"; and "Women of Toronto".

Series also includes numerous manuscript, typescript and photocopied copies of reviews written by Waddington, and a number of miscellaneous manuscripts.

Includes manuscripts, typescripts and copies of many of Waddington's stories, the afterward to the translation of Gabrielle Roy's Street of Riches, manuscripts and typescripts for Apartment Seven (a book of essays), articles, conference papers, lecture notes and drafts of talks (including the E.J. Pratt Memorial lecture), obituary for Adele Wiseman, reviews of the work of others and clippings of published reviews. Includes an essay on Jewish colonization in the Soviet Union written by Waddington as a student of eleven years of age.

Arrangement is alphabetical by title of the work, with the miscellaneous material appearing at the beginning of the series.

One file entitled "Changes in my relationship with my husband" (1945) has been removed and placed in volume 56, stored in the vault.
