Series consists of manuscripts of proposed collections of poems, and one collection of poems, short stories and essays, that were either abandoned, revised or still in process at the time of Acorn's death.

Series also consists of unpublished collections of poems entitled "Many Ghosts", "Codex Maximus", "For the Life of Lefty", "Heads in a Collection", "Hundred Proof Earth", "The Sunnybrook Poems" and "Sonnets of Martin Dorion". Also included is an untitled collection dating 1950-1980.

Series also consists of unpublished collections of poems entitled "Dolphins are People", "Hundred Proof Earth" and "This is What the Sign Says" 1950-1970.
