The series consists of personal and professional correspondence of R. B. Inch, of which most is personal. The correspondence in the first accession (Volume 17) is organized chronologically and includes correspondence with J. W. Dafoe, Dorothy Livesay, J. King Gordon, Thérèse Casgrain, Eugene Forsey, and F. R. Scott, among others. The correspondence in the 2014 accession (Volume 24) is arranged nominally for the most part and includes correspondence with R. B. Bennett, Lord Robert Cecil, Alma Criddle, Alice and Grant Dexter, Antonia and Mack Eastman, Wilfrid Eggleston, George V. Ferguson, James Gibson, J. King Gordon, Milton Gregg, James N. Inch (his father), John E. Robbins, and Henry Marshall Tory. It also includes a file of correspondence with Jack Pickersgill and Paul Martin Sr. concerning the history of the League of Nations Society. The correspondence with the Eastmans is of note for the series of illustrated Christmas cards from the1940s to the 1960s created by the artist Antonia Eastman. In addition the series includes a small number of photographs, mostly portraits of his correspondents' children, which were enclosed with letters and cards.
