Series consists of a letter from Sir Charles G.D. Roberts to an unnamed correspondent (possibly poet Jean Kilby Rorison) regarding her poems, dated 16 May 1927; unaddressed fragment of another letter (possibly the same correspondent) referring to a visit with poet Dr. Clarke, n.d. Also included is a letter from Roberts to the editor of the St. Nicholas Magazine offering a short story, "A Night Encounter", for publication, dated 18 March 1893, and a copy of the manuscript; letters from Roberts to the editors of Ladies Home Journal concerning the publication of his work in the magazine, 1907-1910, and a letter to [Seth] (possibly a literary agent) regarding a Christmas story by Roberts and its publication, 1910; two letters from Duncan Campbell Scott to Roberts discussing the work of both poets and that of others, dated 18 January and 15 October 1930.
