Sub-series consists of correspondence relating to Ph.D. program and thesis, Veterans Training Allowance from Department of Veterans Affairs and pre-doctoral fellowship from the Canadian Social Science Research Council; Yuzyk's class notes and essays for doctoral course work; his lecture notes on the Economic History of Europe; research and correspondence regarding his Ph.D. thesis; and draft copies of his Ph.D. thesis, "The Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church of Canada 1918-1951". It is noteworthy that Yuzyk, a Catholic, was able to obtain the confidence of the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church permitting him access to research materials that would normally have been restricted.
