Series consists of general subject files including a few isolated files pertaining largely to aviation and in particular, the CBC production entitled "Flight- the Passionate Affairs", Dominion Skyways Limited, Canadian Flying Clubs' Association, telecommunications and electronics in the Department of Transport, and the 1931, Air Canada Pageant, 0.03 m.

The series also contains manuscripts including Main's articles and manual written, for flying students 1936-1940, his commentaries during the war years for The Canadian Unionist and the New Deal, his unpublished articles on water resources and unpublished illustrated children's stories, 0.07 m.
