The series comprises family, personal and biographical material relating to June Callwood's life. Appointment books from 1966 to 2000 and a personal diary for 1997 outline her daily activities in detail. Her biographical file includes a copy of Joyce Douglas's thesis titled "June Callwood: A Study in Activism and Advocacy", genealogical research on the Callwood and Lavoie families, and correspondence concerning proposed biographies of her by Douglas, Barbara Wade Rose, and Theresa Dobko. The file for a 1994 party organized by Murray Frum to celebrate Trent Frayne and June Callwood's 50th wedding anniversary and her 70th birthday encloses invitations, regrets, well-wishes, guest lists, and seating arrangements. Her eleven-year struggle to access the RCMP file kept on her and have it destroyed is documented in another file which holds letters from Solicitor General Robert Kaplan, Privacy Commissioner John Grace and RCMP Commissioner Norman Inkster. There is also a sound recording of a radio broadcast of an interview of Callwood by Lena Sadiwskyj on CFMU-FM Hamilton (McMaster University) in 1978, discussing her career in journalism and broadcasting, books, and social activism.

For her husband Trent Frayne, the series holds a 1972 letter from Bryce Mackasey congratulating him on an article in the "Toronto Star", a 1970 programme from Gordon Sinclair's 70th Birthday Party signed by Sinclair; a certificate from the National Mature Media Awards in 2000; and a contract from Key Porter Books for a manuscript called "Overtime".
