Series consists of correspondence and other papers of William Walsh and his wife Anne (Weir) Walsh.

Series includes correspondence between Mr. and Mrs. Walsh during his internment (1941-1942), other personal correspondence received by Anne Walsh (1941-1942) and by William Walsh (1943-1945), and letters written by William Walsh while overseas and other papers concerning his war service. The correspondence received by Anne Walsh includes prisoner-of-war correspondence from her brother, Charles Weir, during his internment at Internment Camp H and at Petawawa Internment Camp (1941-1942).

Also included are correspondence and notes regarding William Walsh's resignations from the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers (UE) and from the Communist Party of Canada (CPC) and notes concerning organizing activities in the Draftsmen's Association of Ontario.
