Series consists of New York office records, 1827-1855, commencing with the presidency of Ramsay Crooks, including letterbooks, 1834-1847 and letters received, 1831-1849; invoices and orders, 1827-1847; store and packing books, 1835-1847; blotters, 1835-1846; receiving and shipment books, 1835-1847; treaties with Indians, 1833-1838, and other records relating to Indians, ca. 1840; sales and accounts current, 1835-1855; and various other records, 1834-1844. A calendar, with an index, was published in the Report of the American Historical Associaton, 1944, volumes 2-3. This material may be found on microfilm reels M-37 to M-57 and M-89 to M-105.
