The series consists of a transcript of a list of the clerks of Granville Township, 1779-1876 (2 pages) and a transcript of a second version of the Granville Township Book (93 pages). This second version includes a reference to the original book as the "Old Record", and though copied from it, is not identical to it, probably having replaced the original in active usage by the township. The transcript of this version includes a register of births, marriages, and deaths, 1720-1868; clergy returns of baptisms, marriages, and burials, 1830-1834 (page 75); and ordinances of the General Sessions of the Peace of Annapolis County, 1830-1840 (pages 61, 92-93).
