Series consists of miscellaneous correspondence, 1855-1887; opinion of R.H. Coote on an agreement with an unnamed railroad company, 1850; Commissioner's annual report for 1899, 1901 and 1905.

Series also contains microfilm of deeds and papers relating to the settlement in Huron County, U.C. from originals in the Guildhall Library (their reference: MS 18479). The majority of the material relates to Bayfield and includes a plan of Bayfield showing the townships of Goderich and Stanley; and a printed prospectus of the British American Land Company. This material is located on microfilm reel A-2161.
