Series is comprised of reports received from the firm's engineers and other sources. The reports are arranged in numerical order from 564 to 1618. There are several numbers missing. Approximately half of the reports are dated before 1911. The remainder cover the period from 1911 to 1938. An index, vol. 46, is available for use with the reports, as well as a register covering numbers 1001-1618. Some of the more important subjects treated in the reports include hydro-electric development in various parts of Canada, railways (particularly the T. and N.O.), utilities and civic development (transit, power, water, particularly at Edmonton and Vancouver), irrigation, waterways, pulp and paper, forestry, coal and gold mines.
