In 1968 an ecumenical group of 50 Canadians from the United Church, Anglican Church, Catholic Church, Presbyterian Church, the Jewish faith and even doubters, made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This is the filmed record of their trip and the thoughts and experiences they had on the journey. They landed in Egypt and went to Lidda, home of St. George, then on to Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee, to Nazareth, Capernaum and Magdala where St. Mary Magdalene was born. During a week in Jerusalem they saw the Wailing Wall and nearby Bethlehem, and later Hebron, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are buried. They also saw Jericho and Qu'umran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. A final tour took them to Cairo and Luxor. <90mn>Language:EnglishNotes:Detailed holdings information: -
