Collection search - Provincial associations and branches [textual record]

Some of the Maritime provinces are an exception to the pattern of having at least one branch or one association of branches for each province. For instance, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island formed one branch before separating into two branches. There was later a New Brunswick association, but no sign of one for P.E.I.
Although most files of the Montreal branch deal with an English section, there is an indication that a French section existed in the late 1940's and 1950's.

Series is arranged alphabetically by the name of the associations and each of them is followed by the local branches in that province. Within each association or branch, the files have been arranged chronologically., The P.E.I. and Newfoundland branch files have been arranged alphabetically among the associations' names as if it was an association.
