The series consists of material relating to the lobbying activities of the Social Science Federation of Canada with respect to the departments and agencies of the federal government, particularly the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Some of its lobbying efforts in conjunction with other partners are shown in the records relating to the National Lobby Network, National Consortium, and "Breakfasts on the Hill". The series also includes correspondence and other documents pertaining to the Federation's radio programs.
