Series consists of a microfilm copy of proceedings of the Canadian Labor Congress, held 26-28 December 1883 (published in 1884; reel M-9602); a microfilm copy of conventions of the Trades and Labor Congress of Canada (name varies), 1886-1944, 1946-1955 (reels M-9602 to M-9608); report of the secretary-treasurer concerning receipts and expenditures, 1893 (container 551); and print matter, reports, correspondence, delegate's portfolio, resolutions, proceedings, and other documents concerning TLC conventions, 1950-1954 (container 531).

Custodial history:

Internal evidence indicates that the microfilm of convention proceedings was copied from originals held by the Department of Labour Library. These microfilms were transferred to the CLC fonds from the National Archives Library in 2001., Internal evidence indicates that the files concerning TLC conventions, 1950-1954, in container 531 were created by the British Columbia Government Employees Association; they subsequently migrated to the custody of the TLC or the CLC.
