The sub-series contains incoming and outgoing correspondence with business associates R. W. Gladstone and John N. Lyon relating to formation of Ontario Metal Culvert Company, which became the Canada Ingot Iron Company in 1916; related trade catalogue, promotional materials, price lists, and outlines of sales and financial results; correspondence, patents, technical photographs, and clippings relating to investment in development of the Paige engine and financial support of inventor Arthur J. Paige. This small body of material provides excellent documentation of the formative years of the Ontario Metal Culvert Company and its transformation into the Canada Ingot Iron Company (which became Armco Canada in 1946).
