Kellock, Roy Lindsay, 1893-1975 : Roy Lindsay Kellock was born in 1893 in Perth, Ontario. He studied at Harbord Collegiate and McMaster University. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in September 1920 and was created K.C. in 1934. He joined Mason, Foulds, Davidson & Kellock Co. in May 1920. He was appointed Justice at the Court of Appeal for Ontario in 1942 and Justice at the Supreme Court of Canada on 3 October 1944. During his career as Justice, he was chairman of several Royal Commissions and Commissions of Inquiry. After retiring in 1958, he was partner of Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto, director of the Canada Permanent Trust Co. and the North American Life Assurance Company.
