Fonds consists of papers of the MacRae and Hamilton families, including letters from Florence Kirk, who was teaching at Ginling College in China, to Ella MacRae, 1932-1946, and three account books of the Hamilton family, 1889-1944, including one for Samuel Hamilton's blacksmith and waggon shop, 1889-1899.

MacRae, Ella, 1897-1982 (family) : Ella MacRae (née Henry), homemaker, was born in 1897 in Stockton, Manitoba. She grew up in Milden, Saskatchewan. After her marriage she moved to Apple Hill, Ont. She died in 1982.

Florence Kirk was a Canadian teacher who taught at Ginling College, a mission college in China, during the 1930's and 1940's. When she went there in 1932, Ginling was the only Christian college for girls in China.
