Fonds consists of correspondence, minutes of meetings, treasurer's reports, accounts, membership lists, albums, files of clippings, personnel material, and memorabilia relating to the Vancouver Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service Association and to the service of its menbers during the Second World War, 1942-1987.

Fonds also contains photographs depicting Second World War and post-Second World War activities of the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service, 1942-1989, including photos of training, rest and recuperation, ceremonial parades, weddings, reunions, and numerous members of the Service.

Vancouver Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service Association : The Vancouver Woman's Royal Canadian Naval Service Association was established on 29 August 1946. Membership is open to women with active service in any of the naval forces of the British Commonwealth. The Association holds annual reunions and serves a benevolent role.
