Fonds consists of correspondence and other papers of John Alexander married to Janet McIntyre. Some letters are addressed to Mr. John Riddel, a grocer in the Montreal area. Mrs. Riddel was apparently the sister of Janet McIntyre. Many letters between 1821 and 1829 were written by Rev. John Alexander of Brantford, Ont., son of the above, and married to Isabella Laing. Later he became a minister at Dovercourt Baptist Church in Toronto. Also includes is an account rendered to V.T. Jones by David Fairbairn of Brockville. Photocopies, 35 pages.
