Textual records (Electronic) The finding aid provides a calendar of the items copied by the National Archives of Canada. MSS0310 (90: Open)

Textual records (Paper) Internal Treasury finding aids are supplied by contemporary registers, arranged alphabetically, chronologically or numerically, which are included in or compose the classes of Registers of Papers (T. 2), and Reference Books, etc. (T. 4). Transfers of papers are noted in the Skeleton Registers (T. 3), while subject indexes are provided by the Subject Registers (T 108). These classes have not been copied by the National Archives of Canada but their particulars may be found in the Guide to the Contents of the Public Records Office, II, and in Lists of the Records of The Treasury, The Paymaster General's Office, The Exchequer and Audit Department and the Board of Trade, to 1837, preserved in the Public Record Office. Textual records (Paper) Published sources may include: Guide to the Materials for American History, to 1783, in the Public Record Office of Great Britain, II, by Charles M. Andrews; Guide to the Materials in London Archives for the History of the United States since 1783, by C.O. Paullin and F.L. Paxson; and the three series of Calendars, Calendar of Treasury Papers, 1557-1728; Calendar of Treasury Books and Papers, 1719-1745; and Calendar of Treasury Books, 1660-1718. The Minute Books have been included in the Calendars of Treasury Books. The indexes to the calendars can be most helpful to the researchers (90: Open)
