Fonds consists of a history of 14 generations of the Street family of Worcester, England; New Brunswick and Ontario from 1530 to 1984 compiled by Gerald Golden of Kingsmere, Quebec. Consists of charts, copies of photographs and copies of newspaper clippings and correspondence.

STREET FAMILY, England, New Brunswick & Ontario : Charles Frederick Street (1832-1914) was born at "Willowbrook", Newcastle, New Brunswick. He studied theology in the Anglican Seminary in New York. After graduating from the Seminary in 1855, he was ordained to the order of Deacon and appointed to a mission on the Miramichi River. In 1856, he was ordained to the Priesthood of the Anglican Church and served at Miramichi until 1857. Over the next several years, he was Assistant Rector in Bathurst and Prince William. In 1859, he married Lucy Audubon Kendall (1842-1871) by whom he had 5 children. After his wife's death, he began to have more and more sympathy with Catholics and on 26 July 1872, he and his 4 surviving children were baptised. In 1873, he became a public servant until he retired in 1909. In 1873, he married Frances Theresa Lynn (1848-1910) by whom he had 11 children. Several descendants still live in the Ottawa area.
