Fonds also contains numerous films, photographs of activities of Canadian Film-Makers Distribution Centre, publicity and production stills, and a drawing in the form of a five frame film strip used as part of the Morrie Ruvinsky film entitled The plastic mile, 1968-1975.
Fonds also consists of numerous documentary, experimental and fiction films, and a drawing in the form of a five frame film strip used as part of the Morrie Ruvinsky film entitled The plastic mile, 1968-1975.Provenance:Biography/Administrative history:Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre : The Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre (CFMDC) is a non-profit, government funded organization which was established in 1967, and incorporated in 1972, to promote the work of independent filmmakers across the country and to gain for them a financial return from the exhibition and sale of their films. It rents or sells prints to schools, colleges, libraries, museums etc. and supplies prints to film festivals as well as negotiating sales for television broadcasting.
