The class consists of annual statistical reports compiled by the Inspector General of Imports and Exports under the title Ledgers of Exports of British Merchandise. In tabular format under the names of the colonies, these records identify the types of British goods exported thither as well as the quantities and official values of each. For the period 1830 to 1869, the entries also state whether the goods were shipped in British or foreign vessels. This material is located on microfilm reels B-5306 to B-5311.
