Textual records (Paper) Finding Aid No. 599 includes the calendar to the Bouquet transcripts. Although marred by some errors and omissions, this calendar is still a very useful guide, and can also be used indirectly as a guide to the originals on microfilm, because the "A" Series transcripts show the folio numbers of the originals in their margins. An index to the calendar is also available in Finding Aid No. 599, and the card index to the Annual Reports of the Public Archives provides yet another means of access to the calendar. Textual records (Paper) Finding Aid No. 599 also includes an inventory of contents, derived from the Catalogue of Additions to the Manuscripts published by the British Museum (now the British Library). That catalogue, which contains some partial lists of correspondents for some of the volumes, is also indexed. In addition, a card index to the correspondents in the collection is available in the Reference Room. This latter index uses references according to the old "A" Series volume designations, which are given in brackets in the description below. Researchers are now urged, however, to request material and make references using and supplying the Add. MSS. numbers of the originals at the British Library. MSS0599 (90: Open)
