Textual records (Paper) The calendars of the "B" series reflect the concerns of late nineteenth century historians and are marred by some errors and omissions but provide detailed descriptions of imperial correspondence and summary information for financial records. Although the calendar references are to the pages numbers of the transcripts, it is also possible to use them indirectly as a guide to the originals on microfilm, because the "B" Series transcripts show the folio numbers of the originals in their margins. Textual records (Paper) For each Additional Manuscript number, the finding aid is a shelf list provides information in tabular format as to the title, dates, microfilm reel number, and number of folios for the originals; and the corresponding "B" Series volume number and microfilm reel number for the transcripts; as well as the Public Archives of Canada Report year of its calendar. The table of contents is derived from the Catalogue of Additions to the Manuscripts published by the British Library and a partial list grouping principal subjects and correspondents. The Loyalist volumes in finding aid no. 599 are: Add. MSS. 21765 (B105), 21826 (B166), 21827 (B167), 21828 (B168) and Index. In addition, a bound copy of a contemporary alphabetical list of Loyalists, which also serves as an index to Add.
