A printed address to the inhabitants of New Brunswick, given by John Bradford on the occasion of the despatch of two ministers to that place by Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon; and three letters to the countess from William Turmage, missionary at Halifax, reporting on the progress of his work, 1785-1786. Hastings, Selina, fl. 1785-1788 : Selina Hastings, Countess of Huntingdon, a convert to Methodism, championed the cause of her new faith throughout her adult life. A close friend of the brothers Wesley and patroness of many ministers having Methodist leanings, she ultimately founded an offshoot of Methodism known as "The Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion".
