Item is an excerpt from a travel diary prepared by Helen Caddick of Birmingham, England who travelled to Canada and Japan in 1891 and 1892. The excerpt covers her trip to Canada in 1891, and includes information concerning her travels to Montreal, Que. on board the "Parisian". The excerpt also details her travels across Canada to the Pacific coast, including descriptions of the people and places encountered, particularly the cities of Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Vancouver and Victoria.
