Fonds consists of thirty-five microfilmed letters, prospectives, telegraphs, articles of asssociation and other papers concerning Golden River Quesnelle Ltd. of British Columbia. Letters are to Alfred Baldwin of Bewdley from various persons in Canada, such as F.D. Pemberton, J. Foster, C.T. Dupont, and Joseph Hunter who were associated with the purchase and operation of the mine. This material is located on microfilm reel A-1605.

Baldwin, Alfred, 1841-1908 : Alfred Baldwin (1841-1908) father of British Prime Minister Sir Stanley Baldwin, was heir to the family iron foundry business which was begun in 1788 at Stourport. Under Alfred's direction the business thrived and diverse holdings were acquired which included Golden River Quesnelle Ltd.
