Fonds consists of letters and fragments of letters from Governor John Wentworth and Mrs. Wentworth to various persons, primarily Lord and Lady Rockingham. The letters deal with such matters as their removal to Halifax, conduct of the war, the government of Nova Scotia, the establishment of a seminary and missions in Nova Scotia as well as various private matters.
