Collection consists of microfilmed selections relating to British North America from the papers of Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton and other collections: Halsey and Johnston Manuscripts, Delmé-Radcliffe manuscripts, Earl of Verulam Manuscripts, Lovel Smeathman and Company, Hardy and Reckitts, Abel Smith Manuscripts, the Panshanger Manuscripts and a diary by Sir Frederick Graham, 1742. Of particular note are documents relating to the Labrador Boundary dispute, Newfoundland fisheries and Louisbourg. Most of the microfilmed material is from Lytton's brief tenure as Colonial Secretary, 1858-1859. This material is located on microfilm reels A-933 and A-934.
