Fonds consists of microfilmed records of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Neudorf, 1914-1970, and of congregations absorbed by it. Included are registers and minutes of Zion Lutheran Church of Neudorf, 1898-1963; minutes of St. John's Lutheran Church, Killaly, 1920-1968, minutes of St. John's Lutheran Church of Rosewood, 1911-1958; and the register of Zion Reformed Church of Neudorf, 1923-1957. This material is located on microfilm reel M-854. A table of contents prefaces the microfilm.

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (Neudorf, Sask.) : Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neudorf, was organized in 1914 by members of Zion Lutheran Church in Neudorf who wished to break with the Synod of Manitoba and other provinces and join the Ohio Synod. Zion Lutheran had been organized in 1892 among German speaking Lutherans from Austria-Hungary by the Rev. L. Streich of the Manitoba Synod. In time Synodical differences lessened and Christ and Zion were again united, in 1964.

St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Killaly, Saskatchewan and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rosewood, Saskatchewan, were German speaking rural parishers at one time served by pastors either from Christ or Zion Lutheran of Neudorf. Neither church exists any longer.

The records of Zion Reformed, whose membership consisted largely of German speaking immigrants from Galicia and their descendants, were left with Christ Evangelical Lutheran after the former church dissolved itself, in 1958.
