St. Mary's Church (Regina, Sask. : Roman Catholic) : St. Mary's Church, established in about 1883, was the first Roman Catholic church in Regina. In 1he 1880s it became the headquarters of missionaries serving Roman Catholics in the Regina area. In 1903 the parish was entrusted to the Oblate Fathers, who concentrated on serving the non-English speaking and non-French speaking Catholics in Regina and surroundings. In 1912 the church was assigned for the use of German speaking Catholics of Regina, and it continues to serve them.
