Colonial Office 135 consists of entry books of correspondence relating to the Hudson's Bay Company. The entire class is available on microfilm, reel B-1702. Selections from volume 1, and the whole of volume 2 are available in transcript form, and are available on microfilm reel C-13616.

Volume 1, 1670-1689, which has an index preceding the papers, includes predominantly charters, petitions, memorials and memoranda. Volume 2, 1687-1688, is entitled "Transactions between England and France relating to Hudson's Bay; volume 3, 1696-1719, with an index preceding the volume, provides correspondence, commissions, petitions, reports, etc., which came before the old Board of Trade; volume 4, 1787-1789, is composed of a series of Hudson's Bay Company sale books for furs and skins.
