Fonds consists of a report of the National Health Survey Conducted by the Canadian Medical Procurement and Assignment Board, (Ottawa: 1945), and related documents, primarily concerning the activities of the Materiel (sic) Survey Committee, and the Defence Medical and Dental Services Advisory Board. A biographical sketch, supplied by the office of the Surgeon General of Canada, is also included, 2 pages.

Sneath, Paul Alfred Turner, 1898-1976 : Lieutenant-Colonel Sneath, physician, born in Vancouver, obtained his M.D. from the University of Toronto, 1928. He also trained in England and held various posts in Africa. He joined the Public Service of Canada in 1951, retiring in 1965 but continued to act as a physician in the office of the Surgeon General until 1973.
