Mikulecky, Jan, Austria and Manitoba (Winnipeg) (family) : Jan Mikulecky, his wife Karolina Runzer, and their children emigrated from Czernowitz Bukovina Austria to Canada in 1893. They embarked on the S.S. Superior in Liverpool, England and arrived at Halifax, N.S. in March 1893; later the family moved to Winnipeg, Man. Jan Mikulecky was a professional musician.
