Fonds consists of microfilmed church registers of St. Andrew's United Church of Canada Church, Pakenham, Ont., and its predecessor churches. Included are the registers of Pakenham Wesleyan Methodist Circuit, membership registers, which include some deaths, 1864-1920; baptisms and burials, 1901-1918; and marriages, 1858-1931; of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Pakenham marriages, 1840-1883, and of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Pakenham, with Zion Presbyterian Church, Cedar Hill, and the United Church of Canada's Pakenham Pastoral Charge, baptisms, 1891-1966; marriages, 1896-1973; and burials, 1909-1985; also of the Presbyterian (later, United Church of Canada) Church of Blakeney and Clayton, marriages, 1896-1946. St. Andrew's Church (Pakenham, Ont. : United Church of Canada) : At the time of church union in 1925, the Pakenham Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada became part of the new denomination's Renfrew Presbytery in its Bay of Quinté Conference. It was formed by the union of the Presbyterian and Methodist churches of the area, which dated from the 1830s and drew their congregations from the townships of Pakenham and Ramsay in Lanark County, Fitzroy and Torbolton in Carleton County, and Horton and McNab in Renfrew County.

The main churches of the predecessor denominations had been St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Pakenham, established in 1841 by the Rev. Dr. Alexander L. Mann (ca. 1801-1884), and the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Pakenham, originally built in 1842. Also included were the Methodist Church and Zion Presbyterian Church, Cedar Hill; the Methodist congregation of Antrim, in Fitzroy Township; and the Presbyterian congregations of Blakeney and Clayton in Ramsay Township. The United Church of Canada's present church of St. Andrew's, Pakenham, is the "new" Presbyterian building erected in 1898.
