Lombardi, Johnny, 1915-2002 : John-Barbalinardo Lombardi, known as Johnny Lombardi, was born in 1916 at Toronto, Ont. He was the President and Managing Director of Radio 1540 and Radio CHIN Ltd. He was involved in the Italo-Canadian community as a promoter of Italo-Canadian musical talent and a supporter of social and cultural activities and programs. His involvement included the Italian Immigrant Aid Society, Vice-President 1952-1954, and Canadian Italian Hockey League, Director 1964.
