Fonds consists of correspondence received by Selma Brady from Canadian poet and artist Joe Rosenblatt, whom Brody met during 1965 when she spent a winter on Ward's Island in Toronto, including letters sent while Rosenblatt was living in Vancouver, 1968-1969, and involved with the small press, Very Stone House, and while he was living in Toronto, 1969-1980, and Victoria and Qualicum Beach, 1980-1983. The correspondence documents Rosenblatt's writing and personal life.

Brody, Selma, 1929- : Selma Brody was born in 1929 at Montreal and grew up in Woodstock, N.B. She was educated in the United States and spent most of her life in New York City, where she pursued a career as an artist. She returned to Canada in 1978 and settled in Fredericton, N.B., where she has held a number of exhibitions of her work.
